Optimizing Function
Using movement principles from numerous platforms such as: Pilates; Franklin Method; Gordon Brown; Mary Bond; Feldenkraise, Aston patterning; SanFransico spine stabilization exercises; Yoga; and imagery, has helped me teach people with different learning styles and body awareness. Together we can figure out what works for you.

Taking Care of You
Considering the whole body is connected through fascia (connective tissue from the top of your head to your feet), there are ways to test and determine which restrictions are primary. Once released, allowing you optimal ability to gain strength, mobility and decrease pain. It's important to take into consideration the whole person - how we move, trauma or previous injuries/surgeries. What we consume, daily routines, circumstances all contribute to our postures and movement patterns.
Pain Management
and Self Care
Awareness is the beginning of change
There are things you can do to to help build strength and balance, as well as restore tissue tension. I love to teach principles, so that you can begin to integrate them into your life.
Core training can be applied to all your functional activities. I can teach you how to engage your deep core, and integrate this ability into daily activities.
Ball and or roller work to release restrictions are a way you can restore mobility and decrease pain, when you feel pain and restriction creep back in. This allows you to rely less on other people to help you during potential exacerbations of pain and dysfunction.
